Massage therapy is massaging the soft tissues of your body to relieve pressure and irritation. When you focus on the sinuses, it is especially effective because you can manually help drain the sinus cavities and relieve pressure build-up.
End with gently rubbing the tip of your nose in a circular motion with the palm of your hand. Do this movement 15-20 times.
Visit your doctor if you feel deep pain at any point while rubbing your sinuses. It may be more serious than a simple cold.
This will drain the sinuses faster than medicine, and you can do it more often than you can take medicine. This means you can massage your sinuses anytime you feel like the pressure is getting too much for you to handle.
Sometimes when it comes to the common cold, you have to think outside the medicine cabinet to get the best relief.
